Joint statement from

National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) and

American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists, Inc. (AARST)

The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) and the American Association of Radon Scientist and Technologists, Inc. (AARST) are pleased to announce that they had a very productive and cooperative meeting on November 2, 2005.

In September, AARST purchased the stock of Price Consulting, Inc, the entity which has been administering the NEHA National Radon Proficiency Program (NEHA-NRPP).

NEHA and AARST are both committed to building a stronger proficiency program. With NEHA’s professional reputation for excellence and AARST’s scientific and technical expertise, the two associations are currently exploring how they can take this already excellent program and improve it even further.

In the meantime, the NEHA-NRPP will continue to operate as it always has. All certified professionals under NEHA-NRPP remain certified with the NEHA-NRPP program.
